Our Goals
We are proud to announce the beginning of a new endevour at the Journal of Emerging Sport Studies, the creation of an imprint committed to publishing high-quality, open-access manuscripts, available in hard copy and as open-access eBooks. We are committed to providing platforms for emerging and established scholars of sport to distribute their work and the creation of JESS Press is an exciting new step towards these goals.
Our first manuscript is a collection of critical and creative contributions titled, "Reaching the Summit: Reimagining the Summit Series in the Canadian Cultural Memory" and is currently accepting abstracts.
In the coming months, we will begin welcoming proposals from authors for manuscripts published under the JESS Press imprint.
